60" Shirting fabrics
In addition to our extensive range of 36" fabrics, we are now also stocking
a range of 60" width fabric. These shirting fabrics are available from
stock, with no minimums and, as with Acorn, supplied to you on a next
day service. This range of wide width fabric is sold under the trading
name of Classic Shirtings and can be viewed via the products page.

This months featured fabric is from the Classic Shirtings collection and
has been christened 'Majesty'. This quality is available in Sky, Lemon
and Pink and is 60"/150cms wide. This fabric is unique as it is a
weft-way stripe. So the stripe runs across the weft, which is opposite
to normal yarn dyed stripes. This enables us to weave 60mts instead of
300mts, which means we can offer a larger and more varied collection.
Like the majority of the fabrics the composition is made up of
100% Cotton and the construction is 2/100's x 2/100's. This fabric is
ideal for summer garments as it has a weigth of 100 gm/sq.mt and the
satin style stripe lends itself for ladies wear.
