Father’s Day is rapidly approaching, and with only a few days to go, it’s possible that you’re still scrambling for a gift. That’s OK – you’re not the only one! Cufflinks are a classic example of what we’ve just been talking about. Not only are they stylish, but they’re also deeply personal. There are an almost endless range of options available, which means you can get ones that symbolise something special to him, whether that’s a favourite pastime like golf or rugby, or a favourite symbol, like a horse or a stag. There are subtle options like onyx or diamond, or something a little flashier, like silver or gold.

He can also wear them almost anywhere, such as in the office each day. Even if your father is retired, chances are that he’ll still be attending the odd wedding or formal function, which gives him plenty of opportunity to wear them! It’s an intricate accent piece whatever the case, and as an added bonus, it doesn’t even matter if he’s got some cufflinks already – as long as they’re not in the same style!

This is another fantastically stylish suggestion that’s even more practical. Aviators, mirrored lenses, coloured ombrés… there are more options available to you than you might initially think! Plus, if he’s switching his summer style to incorporate lighter weights such as superfine poplins and batiste fabrics, a pair of sunglasses is a particularly excellent finishing touch to his outfit whether he’s out driving, lazing on a deckchair or tending to a crowded barbecue.

A luxury razor

If you’re clean shaven yourself, you might not immediately get the appeal of a solid, brilliantly-manufactured razor. After all, it’s just a household product, right? Nothing special. Well, sometimes, but not always. For the proudly bearded man, his razor is his world, helping him to keep his beloved facial hair looking exactly as he wants it. Obviously, we’re not suggesting you go out and get your father a variety of cheap razors – instead, choose ones that look good, and have a bit of a weight to them. That way, not only will he be able to enjoy shaving as much as ever, but his razor will also look good in the bathroom in the meantime.
