Moleskin is a heavy cotton fabric, woven and then sheared to create a short, soft pile on one side. In feel and appearance its nap is similar to felt or chamois, but less plush than velour. Clothing made from moleskin is noted for its softness and durability. Bronte is a lightweight moleskin making it perfect for shirts.
Haworth is a soft light weight 21 wale (number of cords per inch) corduroy. This fabric can be referred to as a Needlecord as it’s wale count is at the upper end of the spectrum (above 16). This makes it perfect for creating shirts, dresses, light weight jackets or children’s apparel.
