36″ Pinpoint plain cognac solid fabric

Description

Pinpoint (also referred to as pinpoint oxford) has the same weave as oxford cloth, although it uses a finer yarn and tighter weave. It is more formal than oxford cloth, but less formal than poplin. Pinpoint fabrics are generally not transparent and are slightly heavier and thicker than poplins. Because of their heavier construction, pinpoints are fairly durable fabrics. Charactersied by small dot or pin effect and available in plains, stripe and checks.

This particular fabric is almost 20 years old and from our sample room archives and, consequently, is limited in availability.

It is supplied only in 36″ (90cms) width as this was the popular width 15 – 20 years ago and was the preferred width for bespoke tailors and shirtmakers.

We suggest that you buy 3mts for a shirt in this width.

UK shipments take approximately 3-4 days but if your order is urgent please e-mail our sales team. If you are unlikely to be in you can put down a secure location for us to leave the parcel, this can be inputted in the ‘comments’ section at the check out stage. International shipments are normally sent by courier however in some regions we offer a International recorded mail. International shipments by courier will take 5-6 days while shipments sent by International recorded mail will take 10-15 days.
