Just a little fun running through the various qualities that Acorn have to offer…

A is Arnside, a medium weight twill with a soft handle and a high lustre

is for Barbados, a blend of Linen and Bamboo in bright tropical colours

C is Chatsworth, a range of floral lawn prints

D is for Dobby, a weave effect showcased in the Malham white-on-white designs

E is for Egyptian cotton which makes up the majority of the collection

F is for Fife, a range of mid weight brushed cotton twills

G is for Grasmere, one of our finest ranges of 2 ply 160’s superfine poplins

H is for Hampton, lightweight casual checks for the weekend

I is for Irish Linen, a summer wardrobe staple

J is for Jubilee, our very popular stretch poplins

K is for Kendal, a traditional range of wool and cotton blend tattersalls

L is for Leno, a cellular “knit” like woven fabric similar to Aertex

M is for Marcella, necessary for the perfect dinner shirt

N is for narrow width, 50% of the range is the traditional 90cms wide

O is for Oxford, a versatile mid weight fabric, on trend at present

P is for Pinpoint, a classic quality characterised by its stiff handle and pin dot appearance

Q is for Quintessentially English, enough said

R is for Rydal, a soft, brushed wool and cotton intimate blend plain twill fabric

S is for Sovereign, our finest quality yet, woven from 2 ply 190’s yarns

T is for Tartan, a lightweight interpretation of traditional clan tartans

U is for Union, produced using a combination of both cotton and wool yarns as in Kendal

V is for Voile, a lightweight, ultra sheer fabric

W is for Windsor, a range of 2 ply 140’s classics

X is for Ex stock, ideally how the fabrics are supplied to you!

Y is for Yarn dyed, a process of dyeing the yarn rather than dyeing the fabric

Z is for Zephyr, a ligtweight, fine Chambray
