Elegant men’s shirt pattern

Description

With or without a tie, this pattern creates a modern shirt you can adapt to fit any body shape. It has been designed for a standard height of 1.78m (5’10”) and can be used for sizes from ‘S’ to ‘XXL’.

Recommended fabric:
Cotton poplin, Linen, lightweight wool, flannel, silk

Supplies needed (for any size):
1.70mts of fabric for 140-140cm wide material (2.20mts for 90-110cm wide fabric)
1 7/8 yds of fabric for 55″/60″ wide material (2 3/8 yds for a width of 45″)
50cms (20″) of interfacing
9 buttons from 10 to 12mm (3/8″ to 1/2″)

Origins of the The elegant shirt pattern:
When David and Olivier first met on the French version of The Sewing Bee TV show last year, they immediately discussed about how hard it was to find sewing patterns for men. Most of the time, they both had to design and create their own ones. A few months later, they decided to work together and create the first sewing pattern brand dedicated to men’s wear. In November 2017, during the biggest French DIY show in Paris, they launched “Patrons les BG” (Sewing patterns for Handsome Guys’ Wear) Sewing trendy garments for men is now possible……just invent your style !

Shipping:

Shipping costs depend on weight so you can get an accurate shipping quote at the basket page once you have made your selection. As soon as your order is confirmed and we’ve received your payment your order will be processed immediately and shipped. UK shipments take approximately 3-4 days but if your order is urgent please e-mail our sales team. If you are unlikely to be in you can put down a secure location for us to leave the parcel, this can be inputted in the ‘comments’ section at the check out stage. International shipments are normally sent by courier however in some regions we offer a International recorded mail. International shipments by courier will take 5-6 days while shipments sent by International recorded mail will take 10-15 days. If you have a specific delivery requirement please place your order by e-mail e.g. arrange your own shipping.

On European orders you will now be charged Tax and handling fees on receipt of your parcel.

Orders going to the USA will now incur 10% duties and handling fees payable on receipt of the goods.

Returns:

If you have ordered the wrong fabric or you don’t need the item anymore please feel free to return the fabric and we will credit the value back onto your card straight away.
